Students interested in an assistantship should contact the Program Chair, Program Coordinator or their graduate committee chair. ScholarshipsFinancial Aid The Texas A&M University Department of Student Financial Aid helps students obtain scholarships, grants, part-time employment, and loans. Students interested in financial aid are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Many financial aid programs have early deadlines, some as early as the January prior to fall admission. Other Scholarship Opportunities Scholarships are available through the Texas Water Resources Institute and students internships are available through the U.S. Geological Survey.
